In this article, we will show you how to create a bracelet with custom beads using the Image Area layer type. Such a configuration is useful when you don't have images for each bead in each position on the chain.
We will have 2 types of charms: colored and silver.
Let's start with creating custom options with an "Image Thumbnails" type.
The first option will contain all the colored beads.
Now let's create one more custom option that will have another type of charm.
Repeat the steps.
Now clone the steps for each position you are going to have. In our example. We will have 3 placements.
Now let's create layers for each placement.
Please note that once you upload the bead template, you will need to rotate it with the arrows on the right side of the interface.
Then, we need to enable the "display front views from image thumbnail options (gallery)" feature.
Choose the step and options where the images will display from.
Repeat the steps for each position.
Here's the result we have for now:
One more thing that can be adjusted is the way you select the bead.
You can create a clickable bead by going to the layers settings - general - Step to Select.
This will let you select the bead instead of switching between the steps.
