This article shows how to use text layers*, connect custom font, font size and color selectors, enable charge per character and other.
*Please note that if you are on an older subscription plan model, this functionality is available only for the "Product Personalizer" plan and higher. For current plans this functionality is available on all subscription plans.

First of all, let's create a text box.
Save the choice and then the custom option
This is how the character will look on the preview:
If necessary, it is also possible to enable charge per character. Please refer to the following article: Custom Charge Per Character
Now, let's move on to the layers. We need to create a layer that will display the text on the preview.
Open the layers section and click " + Add custom layer"
We need the "Simple Text" layer type. On this stage, you can name the title, set a default text that will be displayed on the preview, and set the position of the text on the preview.
Go to the layer's settings
Connect the input field that was previously created to the layer. To do that, set the text source:
Now, let's create options for the text color, font family and size.
Set a minimal and maximal text sizes that will be available to the customers.
Click the "edit" button next to the choice to open additional settings.
On the additional settings page, you can set the default font size and use some additional settings such as "Charge per character". Please see the following page to learn more: Custom Charge Per Character
Now, let's create a font selector
Set the default font. If you would like to add a custom font or remove some fonts from the library, please visit the following page to learn how to do that: Font Management
Set the Font Family option as a font source for your text layer. It is done the same way as the color source and text source:
In the color settings of the layer, you can add some additional settings such as blur, glow effect, and other.
