Enable CPB in Theme App Extensions Online Store 2.0 (Dawn and other 2.0 themes)

Hello our dear customer. Thank you for choosing our application. There are only a couple of steps left before using it. Due to Shopify requirements, you need to follow these steps:

Please return to the plan selection page and choose the one that suits you best.

After all the confirmations, you will be taken to the customization page for your theme.

Setup steps

If you see a "Default Product" section after navigating to the theme customization page, follow these steps.

But if the section "Home page" has opened and the "Default Product" section is not available, then click on this link to proceed to the other step of the instruction.

Either you will already be in the "Default product" section, or you need to go to it, as shown in the screenshots.

You can open this page through the section "Online store"

If there is no "Apps" section yet, add it and select the Custom Product Builder application as shown in the screenshots. (If this section is available, follow the link)

IMPORTANT: You need to create the App section - if you try to add Builder to the "Product information" section - builder WILL NOT WORK. If you want customizable products to have matching layout as your other product, correct way to achieve it is custom CSS code.

For the correct location and launch of the application, move the "Apps" section higher in the list.

If you've already added an Apps section, just add a new block and select the Custom Product Builder application.

Also now you can choose two modes of product display.

          1. Default Shopify Product Page is loaded first with a 'Personalize & Add To Cart' button that opens                up the builder.

2. Full Custom Product Builder Interface will show up on page load.

Actions if the "Home page" section has opened.

Please make sure your store has at least one active product, then you will get access to the "Default product" section.

You can create a product both in Shopify and in Custom Product Builder application.

          1. If you are creating a product through Shopify, be sure to switch the status to Active.

          2. To create a product through the application, launch it, click "create new" and follow the                              instructions.
