Customization - Filling With Texture Custom Product Layers On The Fly (Beta editor)

Custom Product Builder allows you to fill with textures on the fly without adding options, all you need is a white image of your product and this guide.

To use the filling texture function, follow these steps:

1. Create a Custom Option that will be used for the image layer. 

Use the "Icons" type Custom Option.

You need to set Title:

Then, add Pattern's images and Thumbnails in the Options list right on this page, or through Option's set on the right side of the Options line:

2. The second step is to create a custom layer that will be used to preview the product image.

Let's set up the layer.

TAB: SETTINGS Title: Sleeves_pattern Type: Image View: Front

TAB: ADVANCED Fill Pattern Image: 1. Switch tumbler "Fill Pattern Image" 2. Switch tumbler "Get Fill Pattern Image From Option Layer Page" Panel: Front Category: Sleeves_pattern (Choose here the category in which the required option is located with the "Icons" type only. Created in step 1 at the top of the page). Image Settings: Load here the image of the element that will be recolored.

Then click Apply and Save Product.

IMPORTANT: To make sure the product categories / options are saved properly – first click SAVE at the bottom of the category / panel / option screen, and only after that the SAVE PRODUCT button at the top of the page.

Now, the functionality is ready to use. Switch Patterns and your image will be textured without the need to upload new images.
