This article shows how to manage custom charges per character.

First of all, let's check the settings of the "Input Field" option.

1. Either create a custom option with the "Input Field" - "Text Area" option type, or open the settings of an already existing one.

2. Click the "edit" button next to the choice

3. On this page, you can:

• Set the minimal and maximal lengths of the inscription
• Show character counter
• Manage some additional text field settings 
• Set custom charge per character
• Manage charge for spaces

It is also possible to add a custom character on tail. That means that the customers will be able to add a symbol/character at the end of their text.

That is how it looks on the customers' side.

4. You can also add custom charges per particular symbols/ characters. Please also note that upper- and lowercase are considered two different symbols.

• Open globals settings
• Find the "Custom Charge Per Character" section
• Click "Add Character"
• Set the necessary conditions for custom charge
