Example Scenario
Imagine you’re offering a custom chair. You want the cushion color to be automatically selected based on the chair color the customer chooses.
How to Set It Up
-
Open the Product
Open the product in the Custom Product Builder and click the Edit button next to the option where you want to apply the auto-select functionality.
2. Edit the Target Choice
Scroll down to the Choices section and click the Edit button next to the choice that should be auto-selected.
3. Configure Conditional Logic
In the choice’s settings, locate the Conditional Logic Rules section.
Select the Step, Option, and Choice that should trigger this choice to be auto-selected.
4. Save Your Changes
Save the choice settings. Repeat the process for any other choices where auto-selection is needed.
5. Save the Product
Once all desired choices are configured, make sure to click Save Product to apply the changes.
Important Note
The auto-select functionality does not lock the choice. Customers can still switch to other available options. It simply suggests a default selection based on their previous input.
